The 3-Step Process
Step 1: Select Stream & Medium
- Stream: Arts / Commerce / Science / HSVC.
- Medium: English is standard. Some colleges offer Marathi/Hindi/Urdu medium.
Step 2: Search & Add Colleges
- Filters: Use Zone/Area filter to find colleges near you.
- Code Check: Verify the fees and status (Aided/Unaided).
- Add: Select checkboxes and click 'Add Selected Colleges'.
Step 3: Set Preferences
- Ranking: Assign numbers 1 to 10.
- Logic:
- 1: Dream College (High Risk).
- 2-5: Realistic Colleges (Match your marks).
- 6-10: Safe Colleges (Lower cutoff).
- Lock: You MUST lock the form.
Rules to Remember
- Preference #1: If allotted, you MUST take admission. Failure to do so blocks you from the next regular rounds.
- Preferences #2-10: If allotted, you can take it OR wait for betterment in the next round.
FAQ
Q: Can I put the same college twice? A: You can put different streams or codes of the same college (e.g., Aided and Unaided), but not the exact same code twice.
