FYJC Part-1 Registration: Complete Step-by-Step Guide

This guide will walk you through the Part-1 (Student Profile & Registration) form of the Maharashtra FYJC online admission process. Follow each step carefully to avoid common mistakes.

Overview

Part-1 is the registration phase where you:

  • Create your student account
  • Fill personal and academic details
  • Upload documents
  • Pay the registration fee (₹100)
  • Lock your application

Once Part-1 is verified, you can proceed to Part-2 (college preferences).


Step 1: Open the Official Website

  1. Open Chrome or any browser on your mobile or computer
  2. Search on Google: "maha fyjc admission 2025" or directly type mahafyjcadmissions.in
  3. Click only on the official website
  4. Important: Do not open old links like "11thadmission.org.in" or previous year's portals

Step 2: Start New Student Registration

  1. On the homepage, click the "New Student Registration" button
  2. A page will open asking for your category of student

Available Options:

What Should Most Students Select?

  • Select "Within Maharashtra State" + "Fresher"
  • If you are CBSE/ICSE/other board but your school is in Maharashtra, still choose Within Maharashtra State (your board will appear separately below)

Step 3: Board and Seat Number Details

  1. Select your board from the list:

    • SSC (Maharashtra State Board)
    • CBSE
    • ICSE
    • IB
    • IGCSE
    • NIOS
    • Other State Boards
  2. Enter your exact 10th board Seat Number from the admit card/marksheet

  3. Enter your mother's first name exactly as per the marksheet

  4. Click "Verify"

What Happens Next?

  • SSC students: Data (name, marks, etc.) will auto-fetch from the board database
  • Other boards: Must fill full details manually and verify later at a designated centre
  1. If the details shown are correct, click "Yes / Correct"

Step 4: Email, Mobile, Password & Security Question

1. Email ID

Enter an active email (student's or parent's) that you can check regularly. All important notifications will be sent here.

2. Mobile Number

Preferably student's or parent's WhatsApp number. OTPs and updates will be sent to this number.

3. Password Rules

Your password must include:

  • Capital letter (A-Z)
  • Small letters (a-z)
  • Numbers (0-9)
  • Special character (@, #, !, etc.)

Examples: Abc@2025, Rohan2008@, Student123!

4. Security Question

Select a question you will never forget:

  • "Favourite game?"
  • "Favourite teacher?"
  • "Best friend name?"

Keep the answer simple because you'll need it for password reset.

5. Complete Registration

  1. Enter the Captcha code
  2. Click "Register"
  3. Your Login ID will appear on screen
  4. Important: Take a screenshot or write it down
  5. Download/Print the registration slip PDF if available
  6. Click "Proceed to Login"

Step 5: First Login and Dashboard Overview

  1. Enter your Login ID, password, and Captcha
  2. Click "Login"
  3. The dashboard will open with these sections:
    • Registration Details
    • Personal Details
    • Address Details
    • Category / Reservation & Other Details
    • Academic Details / Marks
    • Document Upload
    • Payment of Registration Fee
    • Lock Application Form

Note: Everything will show "Incomplete" initially. Complete sections from top to bottom.


Step 6: Personal Details

  1. Open "Registration Details / Personal Details"

  2. For SSC students, details are auto-filled:

    • Student Name
    • Mother's Name
    • Father's Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Gender
  3. Check spellings carefully - these will appear on your admission documents

  4. If correct, click "Save & Next"


Step 7: Address Details

Fields to Fill:

  • Address Line 1
  • Village/Area/Locality
  • City/Town
  • District
  • State (auto-filled: Maharashtra)
  • Pincode
  • Email & Mobile (auto-filled from registration)

Important Rules:

Address Line 1:

  • Do not write more than 100 characters
  • Avoid commas and full stops
  • Write only the locality, not the full detailed address

Examples:

Step 8: Category, Caste, Quota & Special Reservation

This is the most important section. Fill carefully.

1. Category / Caste

Tip: If the student's own caste certificate isn't ready yet, you can upload parent's caste certificate temporarily.

2. PWD / Handicap (Divyang)

Select "Yes" only if you have:

  • Minimum 40% disability certificate
  • Issued by Maharashtra Government Hospital

Otherwise, select "No".

3. Other Reservations

Select "Yes" only if you have valid certificates:

  • Earthquake Affected
  • Government Transfer
  • Freedom Fighter
  • Defense Personnel
  • Sports Quota
  • Orphan

Warning: Wrong "Yes" selection can cause application cancellation. If unsure, select "No".

4. Minority (Linguistic / Religious)

Linguistic Minority:

  • If mother tongue on LC is something other than Marathi
  • Examples: Gujarati, Sindhi, Hindi, Tamil, etc.

Religious Minority:

  • Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, etc.

You will need to submit a signed declaration later.

5. In-house Quota

Select "Yes" only if:

  • Your school and junior college are on the same campus
  • You are 100% sure you want admission in that college

Caution: Selecting "Yes" may lock your admission to that college immediately. If unsure, select "No".

Click "Save & Next" after completing this section.


Step 9: Academic / Marks Details

For SSC Students:

  • Marks are auto-fetched from the board database
  • Verify that all subjects and marks are correct

For CBSE/ICSE/Other Boards:

  • Enter subject-wise marks manually
  • Double-check all entries before saving

Click "Save & Next".


Step 10: Document Upload

You may be asked to upload:

  • File Format: PDF or JPG
  • File Size: Under 1 MB
  • Quality: Clear and readable

To reduce file size:

  • Send photo via WhatsApp (it compresses automatically)
  • Use online PDF compressor tools

Note: You can still complete the form if documents are not yet available. Upload them later before verification.

Click "Save & Next".


Step 11: Registration Fee Payment (₹100)

  1. Fee Amount: ₹100 (one-time, non-refundable)
  2. Click "Proceed to Pay Admission Processing Fee"
  3. Payment Options:
    • UPI (recommended - fastest)
    • Debit/Credit Card
    • Net Banking

UPI Payment Steps:

  1. Select UPI option
  2. Enter your UPI ID (example: 9876543210@paytm)
  3. Approve payment on your UPI app
  4. Wait for confirmation

Important Notes:

  • If the page refreshes or hangs, don't panic
  • Wait 2-3 minutes, then log in again
  • Check dashboard to confirm: "Your registration fee is paid"
  • Download or print the payment receipt

Step 12: Final Review and Lock Application

Before Locking, Verify:

  • Student name spelling is correct
  • Parents' names are correct
  • Date of Birth is correct
  • Address is properly filled
  • Category/Caste selection is correct
  • Minority/In-house status is accurate
  • All marks are entered correctly
  • Payment status shows "Paid"

Lock Your Application:

  1. Review the complete preview page
  2. If everything is 100% correct, click "Lock Application Form"

⚠️ Critical Warning:

  • Once locked, you cannot edit anything
  • You cannot create a new form with the same seat number
  • Only lock when you are absolutely sure

After Locking:

  • SSC Open category students: Usually get "Self-Verified" status immediately
  • Other boards/categories: May show "Verification Pending" - you'll need to visit a verification centre

Final Step:

Download and print your final application PDF. Keep it safe for future reference.


What Happens Next?

Part-2 (College Preferences)

After Part-1 is completed and verified, Part-2 opens where you will:

  • Select your stream (Science/Commerce/Arts/HSVC)
  • Choose colleges in order of preference
  • Submit your final college preference list
