Top 10 Common Mistakes

1. Losing Login Credentials:
   • Fix: Write down your Login ID and Password in a physical diary and save it in your phone notes.
2. Selecting Wrong Region:
   • Fix: Select the region where the college is, not where you are.
3. Blurry Documents:
   • Fix: Use a proper scanning app (like Adobe Scan) or a scanner. Don't upload dark/blurry photos.
4. Ignoring Non-Creamy Layer (NCL):
   • Fix: If you are OBC/VJ/NT/SBC, you NEED a valid NCL. Without it, you are considered Open.
5. Listing Only High Cutoff Colleges:
   • Fix: Always have "Safe" colleges (where your marks are +20 more than cutoff) in your list.
6. Putting Wrong Preference #1:
   • Fix: Only put a college at #1 if you are 100% sure you will take it. If allotted, you are stuck with it.
7. Not Locking the Form:
   • Fix: Saving is not enough. You must click "Lock".
8. Missing Verification Status:
   • Fix: Check dashboard daily until it says "Verified".
9. Confusing Aided vs Unaided:
   • Fix: Check the fee code. Aided is cheap (govt supported), Unaided is expensive (private).
10. Missing Admission Deadline:
    • Fix: If allotted, go the next day. Don't wait for the last hour.

• Mobile Number: Use a parent's number that is always active for OTPs.
• Fees: Keep cash and digital payment options ready for admission day.
• Distance: Check the travel time to college during peak hours before selecting it.
